Untis - Parent accounts

For an initial registration, you must first submit the consent form for the use of Untis to your class management. You can obtain this declaration of consent from the head of your children's class or here directly under this introductory text. You will then receive your start password by e-mail, which you can then change. In the Untis app, you will find the Change Password function under the Profile item. Your username is your e-mail address.

Possible errors/problems and solutions:

Problem 1: You cannot log in.
Solution 1:

  • Check the spelling of the email address as the username.
  • Before registering, you must search for and select our school. To do this, enter "Euregio" in the search bar and then select Euregio Comprehensive School Gronau/Epe (currently the 2nd entry in the list).
  • Even though we always try our best, we can sometimes make a typo. Please inform a class teacher again about your correct e-mail address.

Problem 2: I do not see my child's timetable or I see the timetable of only one child.

Solution 2:

  • Under the item "Timetable" you can select the timetable or switch between your children. To do this, click on the magnifying glass at the top right.
  • In order for your children to be assigned to you, both children must have the same e-mail address on file. If one of your children is missing, inform the head of the class concerned (for new registrations, this is done, for example, via the consent form) or send an e-mail to sascha.tarp@egs.gronau.de. Please include the names and classes of the children who are to be linked in one account.

Problem 3: There are gaps in my child's schedule.
Solution 3:

  • At the beginning of the new school year, the last course lists will be entered into Untis. As soon as this is done, the missing lessons will appear automatically. If lessons are missing for a longer period of time, please report this to your class teacher. Until then, you can also use the timetable of the class, which you can also find via the magnifying glass in the upper right corner.

Problem 4: I forgot my username or password.
Solution 4:

  • Your username is your email address.
  • If you had not yet changed the password or had set it yourself: Look in your e-mails for the mail from Mr. Tarp. He had sent you your start password.
  • Otherwise: Click on this link Reset Untis password. With the help of your deposited e-mail address you can reset your password by yourself. Your username is your e-mail address.

Problem 5: When I call in sick for my child, I get an error message.
Solution 5:

  • Sick leave must be reported no later than 07:45 (i.e. before the start of class). This will not work after the start of class. In this case, please write a note to the head of your class.

Problem 6: My child is not showing as excused even though I have called in sick via Untis.
Solution 6:

  • When reporting sickness, please always select the reason for absence "Deregistration by parents in Untis". If you have overlooked this and can no longer change it, a short message to the head of your class via Untis will suffice.
