Fun and games at the Year 6 sports tournament

Last Friday, things got hot for the almost 120 pupils in the sports hall, where the traditional sports tournament took place shortly before the Easter break. The four sixth-grade classes had to prove their sporting talent in the popular sports games "soccer" and "dodgeball". With great ambition and, above all, a lot of fun, all classes gradually competed against each other in both categories. Supported by fan chants, posters and cheers, a tangible stadium feeling was already created after the first games. The following results were ultimately achieved by the classes:

Dodgeball tournament:

1st place: Class 6d

2nd place: Class 6a

3rd place: Class 6c

4th place: Class 6b

Soccer tournament, girls:

1st place: Class 6a & Class 6b

3rd place: Class 6c

4th place: Class 6d

Soccer tournament, boys:

1st place: Class 6a

2nd place: Class 6d

3rd place: Class 6c

4th place: Class 6b

All pupils were rewarded for their performance at the final award ceremony with medals, certificates and snacks.

The responsible sports teachers, Mr. Voß and Mr. Schenzel, would especially like to thank the four upper school students, Marla, Dean, Henri and Alexander, who took on the role of referee on the day and actively helped with the set-up and dismantling.

We congratulate all the pupils on their great results and are already looking forward to the next sports tournament!
