EF Art Class Succeeds in the “Kunststück Freundschaft” Art Contest

As part of their art class, the EF art course explored the theme of friendship. The competition “Art of Friendship—Your Perspective on Friendship” is a collaborative project between Georgs Galerie/Bürgerstiftung Gronau, KuBiG³, and the Gronau Cultural Office. Under the motto “Friendship is colorful, strong, quiet, loud—and above all, unique,” the students developed creative visual concepts and brought them to life through art.

At the start of the project, various examples of artists’ work were examined and analyzed. The students then created their own works, which were stylistically inspired by Banksy’s street art. In doing so, the students interpreted the theme of friendship in a wide variety of unique and individual ways.

The works by Lucy Kondring, Tuana Safak, Timo Hildering, Leonie Vischedyk, Lea Rothe, Maya Litwin, Janne Visser, and Salih Kundakci were particularly successful. Their works were selected by the jury and will be featured in the exhibition.

The exhibition has been on view at the Georgs Galerie in Epe since June 12, 2026, and will remain open to visitors through August 2026. We warmly congratulate the selected students on this achievement and wish them a successful exhibition.
