Last Friday, a total of 59 pupils and four teachers made their way to the Gronau indoor swimming pool to take part in this year's swimming competition for secondary schools in Gronau-Epe. They swam in gender-specific relays of four, in which each participant had to complete 50 meters in freestyle. Our pupils managed this brilliantly with the constant loud support of the audience, so that we as Euregio-Gesamtschule Epe were able to achieve third place in the overall ranking of five schools for the girls and even second place for the boys! The pupils also took top places in the intra-school competitions and won several medals:
