During the training session led by the school’s own team of instructors, the teachers received instruction in various aspects of first aid. The training focused in particular on situations that can arise during the school day, such as injuries on the school grounds, circulatory problems, allergic reactions, or medical emergencies in the classroom. Practical exercises were also conducted on CPR and the safe use of a defibrillator.
The instructors placed particular emphasis on realistic scenarios in which participants could practice the correct response to emergency situations. Through hands-on exercises, the teachers gained greater confidence and the ability to act effectively in the event of an emergency.
"In our day-to-day school life, we bear a great responsibility for the students entrusted to our care. That is why it is important to regularly refresh our first-aid skills and be prepared for specific situations that arise at school."
By successfully participating in this training, the school makes an important contribution to the safety of the entire school community. After all, in an emergency, quick and competent action can be crucial.
The Euregio Comprehensive School in Epe thus remains committed to fostering a comprehensive culture of prevention and safety in order to provide students and staff with a safe learning and working environment.
