After an initial welcome, the parents received important information about their children’s start at our school and had the opportunity to talk with teachers and the school administration. At the same time, the children were able to meet their future homeroom teachers and see their new classrooms.
For many, meeting their future classmates for the first time was especially exciting. Through various icebreaker games, the children quickly struck up conversations with one another and began making their first connections. This allowed them to get a first impression of their new class community and become familiar with their new surroundings.
We were delighted to welcome so many visitors and are looking forward to the coming school year with great anticipation. We’d like to wish our new fifth-graders a successful start at our school.
