Despite the changeable weather, the groups were not deterred and were able to gather numerous valuable impressions. The pupils had chosen a personal focus in advance: commercial, social or technical. On this basis, suitable companies were selected that offered insights into their work processes, training paths and career opportunities.
A look behind the scenes
During the company visits, the young people had the opportunity to get to know real work processes, look over the shoulders of employees and ask questions about training, everyday working life and career opportunities. Afterwards, many pupils reported new insights and, in some cases, completely new career ideas.
