SV collects donations of 1000 Euro for the aid project "School Fees for Uganda

Despite the difficult current situation and the corona-related cancellation of this year's fundraising run, the student council of our school was able to collect donations in four-digit amounts again this year.

After intensive preparation and organization, the student representatives, dressed in appropriate costumes, distributed the previously sold chocolate Santa Clauses to the students as early as the seventh of December. In addition to the proceeds from this campaign, it was above all the generous donations from parents, students and teachers that contributed to the great success of the fundraiser. For this, a huge thank you to everyone who participated this year!!!

The student council of the Euregio Comprehensive School has been supporting the project under the patronage of the Narowski couple from Epe since 2014. Last year's donations were used, for example, to finance the breakfast of all boarding school students in the Ugandan community. It is not yet clear what the proceeds of the donation will be used for this year.

In addition to the fundraising campaign, Mrs. Sickmann and Mr. Leusmann, as the SV teacher team, also visited the senior citizens' homes St. Agatha and Dorotheenhof and presented the residents with Christmas window decorations and lanterns, which had previously been made by the 6th graders.
