This math competition is characterized by a variety of task types that deviate from supposedly "typical school tasks" and encourage students to puzzle, ponder, calculate and estimate.
As part of the mathematics lessons and learning times, the students were prepared for the Känguru competition and familiarized with the special types of problems, which are also increasingly incorporated into regular lessons.
The students clearly enjoyed the tasks and calculated diligently until the last minute.
All participants then received a certificate and smaller prizes in recognition of their achievements.
Jule Overkamp (6a) was the highest scorer with 82.75 points and received a T-shirt.
It is already clear to everyone: Next school year, the Euregio Comprehensive School will participate in the Kangaroo competition again!!!
