A total of around 60 students from the various grades dared to tackle the mathematical tasks. This math competition is characterized by a variety of task types that deviate from supposedly "typical school tasks" and encourage students to puzzle, ponder, calculate and estimate. It was particularly pleasing that this year the competition could once again take place at the school. Due to alternate classes, there were two days of competition held in the auditorium. The students visibly enjoyed the tasks and calculated diligently until the last minute. All participants then received a certificate and smaller prizes in recognition of their achievements. Fabian Mohnke (6c) was the highest scorer with 74.75 points. Among other things, he was awarded a T-shirt for having the largest kangaroo jump (i.e. the largest number of consecutive correct answers). In the other grades, the following students achieved the highest scores: Alexander Welle (5b), Lucia Brands (7b), Vivian Büld (8a) and Elina Isufi (9d). It is already clear to everyone: Next school year, the Euregio Comprehensive School will again take part in the Kangaroo competition!!!
