Upper school project week at the Euregio comprehensive school Epe

In order to give the students of our school an insight into the contents and methods of the upper school subjects as well as the structures and possibilities of the gymnasiale Oberstufe, our first upper school project week took place in the week after the fall vacations. Here, in a kind of "taster lesson", the students not only got to know upper school lessons in subjects they were already familiar with, but also in subjects that were still completely unknown, such as pedagogy or Spanish.

The week ended with a trip to the university city of Münster. Divided into four groups, the students first visited one of the offered faculties of civil engineering, sports science, educational science or economics. There, the students enjoyed a lecture from the undergraduate program, which was followed by a brief study counseling session where the students could ask questions about their studies. The visit to the refectory was followed - at least for those interested - by an audio tour of the Münster University and State Library.

We hope that our students have gained a first insight into the work of the gymnasiale Oberstufe at the Euregio-Gesamtschule and have thus come a little closer to making their decision.

We, the team of the Euregio Comprehensive School, are definitely looking forward to the start of the upper school.
