Since 2019, EGS has held the "Euregio Profile School" certificate, which is awarded annually by the Münster district government at a ceremony. After the school choir was already able to provide musical accompaniment to the certification event in 2023 (back then in Winterswijk), this year we set off to neighboring Enschede (NL) to inspire the audience present (including the European Coordinator of EGS Mr. Porschen, teachers from other Euregio profile schools and the President of the District Government of Münster) - with success! A total of 36 pupils from years 5 to 8, under the direction of Mr. Schenzel, shone with their German-Dutch knowledge within the three songs performed, encouraged them to clap along and were given a thunderous applause. After a short stay in the town, the bus took them back to Epe.
The school choir would like to thank everyone for a wonderful, musical day and is already looking forward to the next performance - probably at the EGS pre-festival market!
