The 6a won the One World Song Contest with their song and came top out of around 800 entries from all over Germany. The aim of the competition is to use music to campaign for a fairer and more sustainable world. This is exactly where the song by the class band "Laute EUregioS" comes in, which was created under the guidance of their music teacher Christoph Leusmann. The title focuses on the importance of children's rights and calls on people to continue to actively campaign for them in the future.
The children received their first professional insights into singing and voice training in workshops back in December. Now they have been able to record their song in the recording studio. It will be released on a CD together with other selected songs in the summer.
Four intensive, exciting and instructive days came to an end for the children - an experience that will certainly stay with them for a long time to come.
