Wild bees and the silent death of insects

As an expert, Mr. Gerwens visited all sixth-grade classes and showed them his equipment and how he works as a beekeeper. The pupils were not only able to ask their own questions, which they had thought about beforehand, but were also able to try out beekeeping equipment for themselves. Afterwards, the pupils designed posters on the protection of wild bees and considered what a world without insects would look like. As a protective measure, Ms. Temme and Mr. Voß's class 6c developed a variety of insect hotels made from different natural materials. The 6b class made their own Euregio honey together with the NW teacher Mr. Koepe.
