In great summer weather, the students had many opportunities to explore the capital culturally, historically and experientially. On the very first day, they visited the zoo or the technology museum in groups and explored Berlin during a city tour. The year group particularly enjoyed a visit to the "Matrix" dance club. During the exhibition "A Typography of Terror" and a visit to the Bundestag, they expanded their knowledge of Germany's history. In addition, the students were able to experience the 40-year history of political persecution and oppression through contemporary witnesses in the Stasi prison "Hohenschönenhausen". In addition to the entire program, free time was not neglected and students explored Berlin on their own. In the end, all participants drove back to Epe in a good mood and agreed that the final trip had been a success.
