Dear Parents, Dear Students,
last Friday, 03.04.2020, would have been the last regular school day before the Easter vacations. In the last few weeks, we would have worked on some new content and written class tests. In addition, some classes would have gone on a class trip or participated in various projects. Due to the current situation with the coronavirus, we all had to adjust very quickly and get involved in a very unusual and special situation. More or less often you and also we were faced with new problems or new situations which had to be overcome. But even in this difficult time we see some positive things.
First of all, a big thank you to all of you for your cooperation and sharing in this new situation. Only through your help we were able to implement this time together. In particular, a big thank you to the parents for helping the children with the tasks and sending files. We know that this was not always easy and we are very excited that it worked so well.
In the last few weeks, we have all been given another good technical training. Almost all of us have had to try out or implement something new. Even if this was difficult, confusing or unattainable at first, we can still benefit from it. In our world, digitization will continue to gain importance in the future, and it can't be wrong to have learned something new recently. We teachers have also tried out new digital approaches and will certainly think carefully about what can be useful in the future.
All in all, we have to admit that we would have preferred to teach the children in class, and even miss teaching with the children. Maybe one or the other of them realized that he or she would rather go back to school. Being at home all day can quickly become boring. Therefore, we would be very happy to meet again soon at school.
Finally, once again a big thank you to all and we wish you a pleasant vacation and enjoy the Easter time in the family. In addition, a big thank you for sending the parents thank you picture, which we were all very happy.
