The tournament was held at the table tennis center of the Bundesliga team Borussia Düsseldorf, where stars like Timo Boll play.
It was due to the initial nervousness that Jochen, Nico, Alexander and Lion lost the first game against the home team from Düsseldorf narrowly and unhappily with 3:2. In the second game, the boys were able to put aside their respect for the large crowd and won their game sovereign with 4:1. Unfortunately, the third game was similarly unfortunate as the first. Small inaccuracies led to a 3:2 loss against the team from Oberhausen, which was by no means the better team. Now they had to win the last two games to enter the final round. Unfortunately, the opponents did not play along: Against the later winner of the tournament Neuenkirchen and against the strongly playing team from Viersen we hardly had a chance. Nevertheless, the participation was a huge success for our team!
