In groups, the children had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the new school: They explored the building during a schoolhouse rally and got to know their new classmates while playing games in the schoolyard. In addition, current fifth graders reported on school life at the secondary school. For recreation, the future students could paint mandalas and play music in the music room. Meanwhile, parents were able to make initial contacts over a cup of coffee.
The teachers of the secondary school are already looking forward to welcoming the new fifth graders after the summer vacations in August.
